MMIT ROBOCON CLUB
Robocon is mainly sponsored by Asia Pacific Broadcasting Union (ABU) which includes Doordarshan (Prasarbharati) of India as a member which has been organizing all activities in India for last five years with collaboration with Maharashtra Institute of Technology (MIT) Pune, India. It is an annual robot contest started from 2002, just for university, college and polytechnic students in the Asia-Pacific region. Participants will compete with their peers in other countries to create a robot using their creative and technological abilities in an open competition.All this according to a theme declared by the host Country.

Achievement By MMIT ROBOCON TEAM
Our college Robocon team were first time participated in National level Robocon contest 2014 & won “Best Rookie Award”, also secured 8th Rank all over India among 90 teams. The task given for this competition was “Salute to Parenthood” (make model of child robot & parent robot). Game consists of 4 tasks which were together perform by both robot.
Contest had 3 round League, super league, Quarter final , Semi-final & Final. Our college team qualified up to Quarter final & were eliminated in Semi Final.Principal Sir & Exce. President congratulated to Robocon team MMIT for achieving the grand Success.
