Kitchen waste is the best alternative for Biogas Production. It is produced when bacteria degrade organic matter in the absence of air. Biogas contains around 55-65% of Methane, 30-40% carbon dioxide. In this way we utilize all kitchen and food waste for generation of biogas in our MMIT Campus.
The details of biogas plant are as follow:
New Trends in Engineering
Today everyone is talking about the Industry 4.0. Industry 4.0 is the fourth industrial revolution, happening due to the use of the Internet and connectivity of machines. Germany has made Industry 4.0 is its Nation's Policy. All countries all over the world have started working on it. India has the most potential to be the leader in the Industry 4.0. Our government has also included industry 4.0 in our national policy. As part of this policy, AICTE has initiated certain programs in building human resource required for the Industry 4.O. AICTE has identified some areas of industry 4.0 for the development of course in engineering and they are as follows:
These nine areas are also called thrust areas or nine pillars of Industry 4. 0. All these are multidisciplinary in nature but if we want to find, their nearest conventional course. Robotics augmented and virtual reality, 3D printing, Automation, and Simulation are related broadly to Mechanical Engineering and other remaining are related to computer Engineering. The AICTE has started preparing faculties for Industry 4. 0 through faculty development programs (FDP) arranged by AICTE ATAL Academy. Human resource is one the most important parameter in building a country for the future, in alliance with these new courses in engineering like mechatronics, Data Science etc. are starting.
Marathwada Mitra Mandal`s Institue of technology, Pune has stated Mechatronics Engineering. MarathwadaMitra Mandal`s Institue of Technology, Pune is the first college under the SavitribaiPhule Pune University, Pune to start this course. The admission will be starting from 2020-21. MarathwadaMitra Mandal`s Institute of Technology (MMIT), Pune is accredited with an "A" grade by NAAC andis located at Lohgoan near to Pune Airport.
MarathwadaMitra Mandal`s Institute of Technology (MMIT), Pune is developing and nurturing engineering students from 2008. MMIT is one of the best private engineering colleges in Pune and always stands out for his student-centric approach in teaching-learning, campus placements, student's achievement in national competitions like BAHA, ROBOCON, Hackathon India, and Competitive exams like GATE, MPSC, UPSC, ISRO, CAT, etc.
Students, who are going to take admission in engineering, need to look into these opportunities and make their branch choice accordingly. The future is already here, we need to work with it. MarathwadaMitra Mandal`s Institute of Technology (MMIT), Pune provides a great opportunity to 12th students to pursue a career in the thrust areas of Industry 4. 0. Mechanical Engineering or Mechatronics Engineering will be the right choice from the career point of view and MMIT, Pune offers both the braches. Apart from this MMIT, Pune also offers courses like Computer Engineering and Civil Engineering.
