The Institute has a very active linkage with Industry from its inception. To broaden the knowledge our students from different undergraduate engineering streams undergo summer training/internship during summer vacations in industries/institutions/organizations across Maharashtra and India. MMIT Lohgaon has a full-fledged Training and Placement Cell with all modern facilities to conduct the campus placement activities. The brochure will provide a brief profile of the Institute, Students Placements and Internship, Technical and Co-curricular activities, Various Clubs and Students Chapters, Industry Linkage and Professional Bodies Membership.
The Training and Placement Cell of MMIT aims to create an encouraging atmosphere by creating ample opportunities to students to hone their skills and performances to meet the challenges of the professional world. We rigorously train students on different important aspects like resume building, aptitude tests, psychometric assessments, facing Group Discussions and Personal Interviews, Soft Skills and Corporate Etiquette training round the year.Right from the first semester, students are offered industry driven short-term projects in their respective areas of specialization that are uniquely blended in the courseware for better understanding. We make the students ready to grab the best placement opportunities for which the preparation begins right from choosing the correct projects in their respective internships in the top companies that acts as a catalyst of change towards their overall perspective of the industry that in turn helps the industry to pick fresh engineer brains for the highly competitive environment and also rely on the chunk of talent for their human resource requirements from MMIT. The Cell invites corporate personnel to deliver talks, encourages corporate houses to participate in the academic departments. We provide a platform to our students to interact with corporates leader whose guidance plays a significant role in shaping the professional career of the students.
